I won the Chess game...

It was 5th of Feb. I knew that there was a chess competition arranged by a local shop, I did register for it. But on the competition day, no proper timings were shared about the competition. I waited till 5 in the evening to get any kind of update about it and later on lost the track of time.

At 7 O'clock, I opened my Instagram and to my surprise, the first story was a live about the chess competition. I checked the time. It was 25 minutes ago! I took my bag and rushed to the venue. Meanwhile, fingers crossed 🤞🏻.

Finally, when I reach the spot, a match was just ended and surprisingly not much of participants were there. As soon as I reached, and inquired about the competition, a man holding a notebook in his hand asked me to seat and play the game. In  the hurry, I passed my bag to my friend who was accidentally and luckily, present there  only.

My opponent, I did not even asked for his name! So fool of me.

We did a hand shake and started the match- a 5 minutes chess match. Flip flop, the match was going on in full speed, all blood shade. I remember, the moves were so fast and quick, that my full name was told by my friend to the man who asked me to seat for a match even without asking my my name and other registration detail, afterwards.

The match ended pretty swiftly and guess what- I won!!!

I defeated my opponent who had won consecutive four matches before me.

Later on, when I looked around, I realised that people around us were also watching our very interesting match, with a lot of interest . After that match my heart was beating really fast!

Then we had another three minutes match which I lost to the same opponent. And after that there were not many new participants. We waited almost for an hour, but nobody showed up. Meanwhile we played among ourselves and enjoyed the evening playing chess, having yummy chocolate shots, in between.

Finally, I was the winner in 5 minutes chess and the other person was the winner for 3 minutes chess. We were told to collect our gifts the next day. We clicked some photos and left.

That was a nice, cheerful, happy- chocolaty evening.

Next day, I got my gift- that was Boat airpods. I was happy!
