Best friends...!?
Every year during the oral test of English...
The teacher used to ask one fixed question to me,
"Who is your best friend ?"
And every year I used to answer with a new name. I didn't had a single best friend till 10th.
In junior college, half of the gang was my schoolmates. And some new good friends I do made in my junior college days. They are still in touch via What's app, Facebook, Instagram- I just joined that.
In senior college, everyone was new, brand new, one can say.
I shifted to Pune for my graduation. So no school friends here. Every single person in my classroom was ЁЯТп% unknown to me.
Now, after three years, I have made a lot of good friends.
Some of them are very special. My sweethearts...ЁЯТЮ
Some of them know me inside outЁЯТЦ.
But still if my school teacher would ask me the same question today, may be I will not be having a definite answer. I will choose any random name or may be I will give a big list of names.
Many people around me have their only One Best Friend from their school time or college times or from childhood. They talk with them every single day, or often in a week. Thanks to the smart phones.
I don't have any person like them in my life with whom I can share each and every single moment of my life.
I don't have anyone particular to call him/her in the evening and share my whole day experience. I don't have anyone particular with whom I can share my mistakes, my achievements, good things or bad things whatsoever happened with me and so on the long stories. I don't have any one particular person who will come under the category of BEST FRIEND.
I don't know the reason behind this. And I think I don't want to find it too.
May be all my special friends are at equal level. Every single person is equally important to me. I care the same for each of them. May be all of them are my best friends.
May be I have a huge box of best friends...

I liked this blog. The Best Friend is the one, like you mentioned, the person with whom you want to share all your experiences, happiness, sadness, achievement and failures etc. It makes you comfortable and happy. That person can be your college friend, room mate, teacher or even your parents. It happens with some people that they do not have 'The Best Friend' but have 'The Best Friends'. They have long list of them. This happens only because such people are more social and friendly. So I think you are fortunate to have so many special friends. Thank you for sharing this.
